Lovely tree. I hope someone identifies it too. Looks like a 'live' dry floral arrangement!

Quite beautiful! you should take a close-up of the flower, and post it on MNS or Nizhal e-group. I'm sure someone will know!

Is it the Indian coral tree ( the tree is supposed to shed leaves when in full bloom) - check this site - http://www.wildwanderer.com/journal/flowering-trees/2/

radha, i dont think so, the flowers of the coral tree look quite different. click on the second picture i have on here to take a closer look.

it not on karthik's wildwanderer blog. thought it was a sterculiaceae or thereabouts family at first look when i saw it a couple of days back in indiranagar.
